# About this site Buffet Reviews collects what the Buffet app is, what it costs, how it works and what its members have actually said about it, in one place. ## Who publishes this site? This site is published and operated by **Buffet Co, Inc.**, the company that makes the Buffet app. It is not an independent review publication, and we would rather say so plainly at the top of the page than bury it. That does mean you should read the editorial parts of this site — the guides, the comparisons — as coming from an interested party. The review quotes are a different matter, and the section below explains why. ## Where do the reviews come from? Every review on this site is a real customer review published on the Apple App Store for app ID 6451276445. They are pulled from Apple’s public customer review feed and reproduced **verbatim**, with the reviewer’s own App Store display name, their star rating and the date they posted. - No review here was written by us, commissioned, paid for or incentivised. - Nothing is edited for tone, length or spelling. - Nothing is filtered for being negative. All 15 written reviews are published, including the one-star review, which has its own section on the reviews page. - The aggregate score of 4.74 from 47 ratings is Apple’s figure, not ours. All of it is independently checkable: open [the App Store listing](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/buffetapp/id6451276445) and compare. ## How the comparisons are written The comparison pages describe competing apps as fairly as we can manage, including the cases where they are the better choice — Meetup for a specific named interest, Timeleft if you are not in a city Buffet serves, a dating app if you want to date with intent. A comparison that concluded “we win at everything” would be worth nothing to you and we would not believe it either. Competitor pricing and availability change; where we cite them we say so and recommend checking the source.
